The University of Worcester is ideally placed for students to visit the rest of the UK. London is just over two hours away by direct train while Birmingham is 40 minutes away. If you want to explore the countryside the Malvern Mountains are 12 minutes away, and the hometown of Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon is just over an hour away. The beautiful Cotswold’s, the city of Oxford, and the Bisector Village shopping center are nearby. Worcester is a great place to play or watch sports! The town is home to the Worcester Warriors rugby club as well as the Worcester County Cricket Club. Whose New Road lands are widely regarded as one of the most beautiful in the country.
